Blood Mother is the second in the 'Flesh and Blood' trilogy. The trilogy follows one family over forty years. I was excited to read this book as I enjoyed the first, Blood Sister so much/5.

Blood Mother is a great follow-up to Dead Roots, where Thomas Bell falls deeper into hellish horror. The writing pulls you along through a landscape of twisted psychological imagery and terribly vicious brutality.

The events of the climax had me almost yell out at my screen. I certainly recommend this book as a thrilling ride!/5. Blood Mother, the sequel to Dead Roots and the second book within the Analyst series, continues the trend and exceeds the brilliance of the first installment. It is obvious that Wood learnt much after writing Dead Roots.
